The owners of HCI Inc. managed and operated the Oregon and southwest Washington division of a company successfully for 3 years, until the owner elected to discontinue operations and sold the division to Kim Hasselbalch, Randy Cornelius and Tom Tapscott. Thus, HCI Industrial & Marine Coatings, Inc. was established in 2005.

The officers of HCI, Inc. have served as managers in the commercial, industrial and marine coatings industry for a combined total of 60 years. Because each officer has his own unique history and experience, HCI is able to offer a very diverse range of services.
